Our AI-powered product is all about providing consultants and analysts with a comprehensive one-stop-shop solution for conducting holistic analysis of the digital competencies of their target companies and their competitors. It plays a key role in covering the multidimensional digital footprint of its target. The AI-driven data acquisition and analysis is used for business development activities and due diligence projects. Sourcing, aggregating, and evaluating data from various online sources and platforms offers a 360-degree overview of the target’s online performance and that of its competitors.

Our main contribution

Creative Dock developed the platform from end to end. Our team started with the initial ideation and UX research. During this phase, we also identified and evaluated available sources for online performance-related data and their suitability for AI-driven due diligence. Then, the team continued with system architecture, algorithmization and generative and predictive AI implementation, bringing the system to production deployment.

Through automation, vast amounts of data can be acquired, fused, and analyzed from various online and offline sources. This happens in a fraction of the time it would take to do so manually. This acceleration enables quicker decision-making and allows analysts to cover more ground in less time.

The accuracy of the due diligence process is greatly improved with generative AI. Semi-automated systems are designed to minimise human errors occurring during data acquisition, fusion, and analysis. This ensures that the base for making business decisions is reliable and precise.

Companies can benefit from both worlds by relying on the cooperation of human analysts and AI algorithms to sift through and interpret data. AI helps avoid the pitfalls of misinterpretation or oversight during manual handling of large datasets, human analysts build on their year-long subject matter knowledge and experience. This leads to more informed decisions and better risk management. Ultimately, effective and efficient allocation of resources brings cost savings.

Due diligence is a tedious and multidisciplinary task requiring strong analytical skills and subject matter knowledge. Identification and fusion of sources is prone to human errors.

Due diligence involves a complex and detailed process that demands a high level of analytical ability and deep knowledge across various subjects. This task can be extremely time-consuming and therefore expensive. It also requires a thorough examination of numerous aspects of various facets of the business. When analysts gather and combine information from different sources, the process is challenging and susceptible to mistakes.

Humans can overlook crucial details, misinterpret data, or accidentally introduce biases into their analysis. Our challenge, therefore, was to analyse the process and to find different algorithms and AI approaches to simplify and automate the process. Also, as a part of the project, our UX researchers and designers worked on a desktop app, guiding analysts through the process and allowing them to cooperate with the AI at every step.
